Details of the project

- Location: 2,000 m north of Barcelona, between the suburbs of Horta, Sant Andreu del Palomar, Sant Martí de Provençals and Gràcia, on the side of the Muntanya Pelada ("Bald" Mountain) and between the planned Mas Guinardó and Mas Casanovas housing developments.

- Its front is bounded by carrer Claudio Coello (now carrer Pare Claret), and its sides by carrer Igualtat (now carrer Cartagena) and carrer Catalunya (now carrer Sant Quintí).

- Size of the plot: it occupies a rectangle with sides 400 m long. An area of

36,000 m2 is assigned to the Hospital de Sant Pau
88,900 m2 is assigned to the Hospital de la Santa Creu

- Maximum Capacity: 1,000 patients, with an average of 145.5 m2 per patient.

- Communications with the city centre; electric tram from Horta.
